About this archive

In-game artwork disappears when events end. Official visuals are scattered across a website, a forum, several social accounts and the game client itself. Files pulled from the client are named things like C31_01_01_01, which tells you nothing about where they appeared.

This archive exists to fix the part that is actually hard: knowing what an image is and where it came from. It currently holds 8,140 artworks across 19 versions, with 58 Agents and 164 events in its reference data.

How artwork is dated

The game files carry no version number, and file dates are misleading - a patch repackages thousands of files that hold much older content. Version is therefore inferred from what the asset name actually encodes: story chapter codes, avatar identifiers, outfit and event names, and internal character codenames.

That works for about half the archive. The rest is shown as undated, and nothing has been guessed. A dialogue backdrop in a district that has existed since launch carries no version marker anywhere, and inventing one would make the archive less useful, not more.

What “unidentified” means

Some artwork is genuine but nobody has yet established where it appeared. It is published anyway, labelled honestly. Hiding it would guarantee it stays unidentified; showing it is how someone recognises it. Corrections are welcome.
